Born about 1831, Nova Scotia.4
He married Asenath Adeline Berry, Jun 30 1851, Clements, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia.6,7 (marriage bond dated Feb 9 1852).6 Asenath, daughter of Thomas Berry & Mary Ann Burrell, was born 1834, Waldec Line, Nova Scotia.6 (christened Feb 18 1835).6
Asenath died Dec 21 1873, age 39 years.6,8
He then married Eliza J. Lantz9 [Eliza Harris10], Jun 7 18769, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia9. Eliza, daughter of Fred + Catherine Lantz, was born Feb 18 1842.4,10,11 Eliza had been previously married to a Charles Harris, by whom she had two children.1,4

Eliza later remarried Jan 6 1916 to David Allen Fraser.1
Eliza died 1926, buried Clementsvale Cemetery, Clementsvale, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia.13
