Agnes Hanshaw Succumbs At 57
Mrs. Agnes S. Hanshaw, 57, 2514 Jefferson Avenue, Point Pleasant, died Thursday at 6:20 pm in Pleasant Valley Hospital.
Mrs. Hanshaw attended St. Paul United Methodist Church and was born Sept. 11, 1922 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Norman and Stella Jenkins Scarberry.
Survivors include her husband, M. Dwyer; a daughter, Judy Erwin, Salisbury, Md.; a son, William M. Hanshaw, Cheshire, Ohio; w [sic] sisters, Mrs. Lola Tolliver, Ashton, Mrs. Marie Jeffers, Point Pleasant, Mrs. Colie Huffman, Huntington, and Mrs. Ellen Deal, Glenwood; one brother, Tom Scarberry, Apple Grove; and four grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 1 pm Monday at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home with the Rev. Herman Hayes officiating. Burial will be in the Lone Oak Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 pm today and all day Sunday.
