Doris M. Hinshaw, 69, of Hurricane, W.Va., formerly of Bloomington and Streator, died Wednesday (Sept. 1, 1999) at Canada's Tender Touch Care Home, Winfield, W.Va., after a long illness. Her memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Forrest Burdette Memorial United Methodist Church, Hurricane, the Rev. Charles Thompson officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Riverview Cemetery, Streator. The family will receive friends one hour before to the service Saturday at the church. Chapman Funeral Home, Hurricane, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forrest Burdette Memorial United Methodist Church, 2848 Putnam Ave., Hurricane, WV 25526; or American Cancer Society West Virginia Division Inc., 2428 Kanawha Blvd. East, Charleston, WV 25311. She was born March 4, 1930, in Streator, the daughter of Harry S. and Flora Ebert Hinshaw. Survivors include one brother, Richard Hinshaw, Scott Depot, W.Va.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Forrest Burdette Memorial United Methodist Church, Hurricane, with the Rev. Charles Thompson officiating.
