Edna Mae Gibson, 87, of Columbia died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, at Boone Hospital Center.  

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Stokes officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at the funeral home.  

Mrs. Gibson was born Sept. 8, 1910, in Hartsburg to Walter and Bessie Bledsoe Hinshaw.  

She married Roy Gibson on Oct. 25, 1930, in Columbia, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1988.  

She owned and operated Riverview Orchards with her husband.  She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and several organizations.  

Survivors include three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  

She was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Gibson; two brothers; and a sister.  

Memorials can be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 201 E. Old Plank Road, Columbia, Mo., 65203.
