Juanita Hinshaw of Danville died Jan. 3 in Hendricks Regional Hospital. She was 86.
Born Feb. 7, 1927, in Southport, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Ruth Compton. She was one of nine children born to Mr. and Mrs. Compton. She married Herman K. Hinshaw and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Hinshaw worked as a sales agent for TWA Airlines and was a member of Bartlett Chapel UMC.
Survives include her children and their spouses, Ben and Jennifer Hinshaw of Plainfield, Rebecca and John Todd of Clayton; step-children Herman K. and Carol Hinshaw of Avon, Janet and Ernest Miller of Dallas, Oregon; grandchildren, Lindsay McKamey, Natalie McKamey, Tory Todd, Megan Todd, Jessica Todd, Michelle Anthony, and Jennifer Miller; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by eight brother and sisters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 10 at Bartlett Chapel UMC, 4396 E. Main St., in Avon.
