In her will dated Jun 30 1921, Ora left property in Knightstown, which she had inherited from her parents, to her daughter Marjorie. She bequeathed $500 to Joseph, with the remainder of her estate to daughter Marjorie.¹⁶ On Nov 5 1921 Joseph contested her will and claimed the entirety of her estate as his right as her husband.¹⁶
