Jose Angel Bustamante4,5,6 [Jo Angel Bustamante7,8, Angel Bustamante2, Gosiagel Bustamante1].

Born 18589 [about 18701, about 18772, about 18654,8,10, 18676], Mexico9.

Jose's birth year and/or age varied considerably in different records.  It's entirely possible that he might not have known his own birth year.  But since his parents were married in 1858,9 and his mother seemed to have died very shortly after the marriage,9 it seems most probable that Jose was born in the summer of 1858.

He married Martina Baisa1,4,5,10 [Martina Visa11], about 18951,4,5,10.  Martina was born Jun 15 186511 [about 18751, about 18802], Mexico11.

This family apparently lived in San Juan, Chihuahua, Mexico.12,13  Today San Juan seems to have been absorbed into the city of Chihuahua.14  However Jose's parents were born and married in Ojinaga9 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ojinaga_Municipality).

When they immigrated to the U.S. is a bit uncertain.  In the 1910 census,1 and again in the 1930 census,2 they declared they immigrated in 1905.  But daughter Leonor was born in 1901 in New Mexico (or Texas), so, if correct, then unless they made multiple immigrations the immigration year would have to be before 1901.  It is believed that they entered at El Paso, Texas, and spent some time in Texas before moving to New Mexico.5  Daughter Leonor recalled being age 7 when they traveled (making it about 1908 or so).5

This family was shown in the 1910 census (Apr 21 1910), Dayton, Eddy County, New Mexico:1
