Lilly's mother made
this "double happiness" banner for Lilly's brother's wedding last summer.
It was carefully shipped from the east coast to the west coast and will
be hung in the banquet room for our wedding.
Instead of a guest
book, a silk signing cloth is used at Chinese weddings. Guests originally
used brush and ink to sign their names and wishes for the bride & groom.
We're providing fabric pens & Sharpies, so you don't have to learn any
new skills. This cloth has traditional dragon and phoenix embroidery.
Back in January, some
of Lilly's musician friends held an engagement celebration for us. The
yummy lemon cake was heart-shaped and there were many wonderful delicacies
and fine champagne. We practiced for our wedding cake cutting.
