Wedding Ceremony and Banquet Locations

Some important notes: The ceremony will be outdoors and (we hope) it will be sunny, so you may want to bring a hat. Temperatures average in the 80's that time of year, but it could get hotter. We don't expect the ceremony to be longer than 40 minutes, so we won't leave you roasting too long. There are restrooms and some shade near the house if you need to get out of the sun. After the ceremony, there will be a banquet at Ming's in Palo Alto. You will need to drive about 18 miles to get to Ming's (let us know if you need a ride). Remember to pace your eating at the banquet -- there will be about 10 dishes to consume, plus cake! We've hired a DJ, so come prepared to dance!

Ceremony Location
Ainsley House
300 Grant Street
Campbell, CA

The wedding ceremony will begin at 11:00am in the gardens of Ainsley House in Campbell, California. The Ainsley House is a Tudor-Revival style house built in the 1920's by canning pioneer, John Colpitts Ainsley. Built at the corner of Hamilton and Johnson (now Bascom) Avenues, it was moved in 1990 to its present location in the Campbell Civic Center. It was restored to its original condition and now serves as a historical museum with period furnishings donated by the Ainsley family. The formal gardens (what most folks would call "the back yard"), where our ceremony will be held, were recreated based on the original design by landscape architect Emerson Knight.
