in past, and reverified recently that such still works fine.

installed, but still won't even print black). No accessories except
aforementioned ink cartridges (power cord is built-in), and softcopy of
documentation (and if desired, some drivers/software, etc.) available
on-line from Brother, or I've got copies of some of those too.

for such before and again recently).

copy function
Printhead and/or inkjet feed lines are (presumably) badly clogged, and
they're not "user serviceable". Doesn't mean they necessarily can't be
cleared/cleaned, but seems can't be easily done in a manner Brother
intended consumer to be able to do so (e.g. there is no consumer access
to the printhead). The color cartridges are dry and/or very low, the
black cartridge was quite recently purchased new and installed. Print
functionality may quite possibly be restored with some persistence and
more advanced techniques. When I got it (for free!, used) in 2005, out
of curiosity, I did a print self-test on it, and to my surprise that
worked perfectly fine then. But, I never really printed anything out
of it since then. Tried again in 2013, but by then it was apparently
quite clogged - even after installing fresh black ink cartridge and
made some modest (Brother's recommended) attempts to get it printing
again (even to just get black printing).
