.
Q: How to get onto mobile InterNet service from cellphone?
A: Go into menu, and select the third button, which has a round icon saying VXL, and when the cursor is there it says "VirginXL". (If you have text instead of icon menus, you'll see "VirginXL" directly in the menu.) Press OK button to do that, which takes you to the Home Page that offers you all sorts of commercial services including "Whats Hot". Shortcut: From idle cellphone, just press the key to the left of the OK, which has an embossed round icon that you can't read but says VXL.

Q: From VirginXL (mobile InterNet) home page, how to enter the URL that you really want to go to, such as a tinyurl that you've set up to reduce the amount of typing you'll need?
A: Select "Menu" (upper-right botton), then press 6 on keypad (the menu calls it "Goto Page"). You'll get a Web form with a TextArea pre-loaded with "http://", with that TextArea currently selected. Now press "Edit" (upper-left button), which will put the cursor at the end of that pre-loaded part-URL. Now type the rest of your URL. Now press "Done" (upper-left button). The form-submit bbutton "Go" is now automatically selected. Press either the OK button or the "Select" (upper-left button) to actually go to that URL.
A2: When you do this again later, your most recently used URL will be used to pre-fill the TextArea, so you can imediately go to it, or erase part of it to choose a different URL. While editing, all URLs that match what you've typed so-far will appear in a menu under the TextArea. Use the button under OK to move down to any of them, then press OK to select the one you want to use again.

Q: After you've gotten onto mobile InterNet and purchased a Month Pass and used it a while, how to find out how much of your 5 megabytes have been used and how much still remains to use before they expire after 30 days?
A: According to customer support, there's no way to know. I.T. might be working to provide a way to know. Meanwhile I suggest just guessing.
Update 2012.Dec.30: On cellphone, press top key labeled "$", or from Web menu select 7 = "Top Up", which actually takes you to "My Account" (which costs $.02 per view, but first 5 views per day are free). First link is the actual "Top Up". Later down is "Data Settings", which shows your remaining bandwidth only to nearest tenth of megabyte, and tells when it expires. Web site has "Data & Web", which shows remaining bandwidth down to a tenth of a kilobyte, but gets updated only about once or twice per hour, about 20 minutes after-the-fact, so beware as you reach bottom of allocation and/or end of month.
