Yahoo doesn't provide any way to upload files to the briefcase I'm supposed to have. If anybody is familiar with Lynx on Unix and can help me, I'd be grateful. Until then, being unable to put any files in my Yahoo briefcase, I'm putting some stuff here instead.
You can often find me on IRC (Internet Relay Chat), see the very bottom of YahooStatus for my online status, including where I am on IRC currently. If you get on my IRC channel, look for something obvious like CalRobert.
When I'm online, if nobody else is on my IRC channel I'll be doing something else such as answering e-mail, so you should get on and wait for me to check back and see you on. (My best e-mail buddies know my special e-mail address for instantly bleeping me to get my attention to check IRC or to check for new Yahoo e-mail. Everyone else just be patient until I trust you enough to give you that bleep-address.) If you can't find my IRC channel (maybe I didn't get on it yet during the current online session, or maybe I'm not online at all), feel free to send me regular e-mail and I'll see it within an hour or so and let you know when to meet me back on the IRC channel.
I'm currently looking for people to read my diary and find typos and run-on sentences before I upload that typographically flawless diary to opendiary for the whole world to see. Volunteer diary proofreaders, please let me know by e-mail who you are, or contact me on IRC, and I'll tell you where to find the draft version of the first segment of my diary for you to read first. Currently (Aug.05), nobody is actively reading my diary, and I am very lonely, like nobody really cares anything about me personally.
This file was created 2000.Aug.05, and last edited 2000.Aug.08. If you notice anything that is out of date, please e-mail me and let me know!
Very long URLs can't be installed in Yahoo-profile Cool links and
sometimes get trashed via e-mail, so instead here are long URLs
in HREFs, where the URL to get here is short, and then one extra
click follows the very long URL where you really want to go:
-> Definition of "Friend"
-> Parody of Robert Maas (hilarious!)
quoted here: re Parody of Robert Maas
-> When I 'met' Erin (but never saw her ever again)
-> Deliberately bad link for testing browsers: Google groups
