I've gotten favorable responses from several people lately when I suggested putting public-transit schedules in cellphone-accessible format, so now I think VTAorg instead of FilJob will be the first application to draw lots of users to NewEco. So I've tentatively decided to start work on VTAorg as soon as I'm finished with this major reformatting of the NewEco description. I plan to build a minimal system that doesn't remember any user-specific information, thus can run stand-alone without requiring NewEco login. But it will have hooks for bookmarking user-specific information, and when the user clicks on such a link the user will be asked to create a NewEco account and log in, and will explain why that's necessary.
