GENEVA (Reuters) - Up to 10,000 people, many of them children, are dying each month from disease and the effects of violence in Darfur camps despite a big international aid effort, the World Health Organization said Monday.

LUANDA, Angola (AP) -- The civil war between UNITA rebels and the government of Angola has killed 10,000 people in the last four months, a newspaper reported Monday. About 6,000 troops from both sides and 4,000 civilians have died since fighting flared last December, the weekly newspaper Folha 8 reported, citing unidentified aid workers.
