BOUAKE, Ivory Coast (Reuters) - Loyalist soldiers and rebels fought gunbattles in the blood-spattered streets of Ivory Coast's second city on Tuesday as U.S. forces moved to protect Americans caught in a military uprising. At least 270 people have been killed in the bloodshed, which has plunged the West African country into its worst crisis since independence from France in 1960.
