KATHMANDU (Reuters) - Bombs shook the capital of revolt-racked Nepal Thursday wounding at least six people in the latest Maoist attacks to rock the city as soldiers killed seven rebels in a fresh crackdown, officials said. The rebels, seeking to topple the constitutional monarchy in the landlocked Himalayan nation, detonated a bomb late on Wednesday killing two people, including a policeman. Last week, the guerrillas, who draw their inspiration from the late Chinese communist party leader Mao Zedong, attacked two police posts in west Nepal. Officials say some 50 police officers died in the attack and many other rebels were killed. Media reports said police were believed to have killed 250 rebels in fending off the attack.
