Description; The Chief Chicagou hike begins at the golden statue in Jackson Park (the statue is located on Hayes Drive approximately 6300 south and about 400 yards west of the lake front.). From the statue you proceed east to south Lake Shore Drive and using the pedestrian overpass cross to the east side of the drive. Once on the east side of the drive you proceed north along the lake front to the North Avenue Beach. Here you turn west and using the underpass hike along North Acenue to Clark Street where you once again hike north until you come to the Chicago Academy of Science and the end of the hike.

• If using Mozilla/Firefox, click open file after the download has completed. If you have google earth installed, the file will automatically take you to Chicago's lakefront with the trail marked in blue.
