No matter what we do, the hikes are nice. There was much rain the night before, and there was supposed to be more for the hike. But we got no rain, and it wasn't even that cold. The mud was pretty reasonable too. You can tell it was a nice hike by the simple fact that no one complained at the end when we discovered it was longer than advertised (we had three GPSrs to corroborate the results).
