Acey Locke Henshaw, 86, was a friend to all, ready to share a warm smile and tender hug. Born May 25, 1927 in Houston Texas, he died March 14, 2014. He served in the Navy 1944-1972 during World War II and Korean War. The family moved to Jacksonville in 1972 where he worked as a manager at JC Penney for 17 years; South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church for 12 years; part time for Odessa car auctions. He is survived by the love of his life, Dot Henshaw (Meemaw), his wife for 65 years; a sister; three children, Linda Reyes (John), Ace Jr. (Ginger) and Ronnie; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. Acey was a longtime member of Southside Baptist Church and founding member of MissionWay Church. Please leave condolences at www.greenlawnjacksonville.com.
