Butch's obituary appeared in the "Sapulpa Herald" (Creek County, Oklahoma) on Monday, June 25, 1990;1

STRANG -- Verd Harry "Butch" Henshaw, 42, Strang, died Saturday.  

Services are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Strang with the Revs. Dallas Martin and Charles Scroggs officiating.  

Graveside services and burial will be at South Heights Cemetery, Sapulpa, under the direction of the Jim Green Funeral Home, Pyror.  

He had lived in Strang five months and formerly lived in Glenpool and Bristow areas.  Mr. Henshaw worked in the outfields and was an electrician.  

Survivors include wife Pam Henshaw of Bristow; mother Darlene Amos of Strang; daughters Quantella Daniell Henshaw [sic] of Bristow and Heather Howe Henshaw of Bristow; and sisters Kathy Cockrell of Locust Grove and Janet Cole of Garber.
