Glenna Mae Flatter, age 87, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. Born June 14, 1922, she was the daughter of Herschel and Mildred (Outland) Hinshaw.
Glenna Mae graduated from Greenfield High School and married Alva Flatter. She worked as a homemaker and as a cook at Greenfield High School for 15 years.
Surviving her are her son, James (Renee) A. Flatter of Grove, Ok; daughters, Joan (James) A. Thomas of Greenfield and Judith Ann (Mark) Prather of Pershing; brother, Henry Hinshaw; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband and parents.
Private services will be held at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
