WAKEFIELD -- Merle R. Hinshaw, 80, Wakefield, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at a Wakefield nursing home.
Mr. Hinshaw worked for Key Milling Inc. in Clay Center.
He was born June 27, 1921, in Clay Center, the son of Guy and Martha Gilbert Hinshaw. He attended Clay Center schools.
He married Vivian Brinegar. They were divorced.
Survivors include a daughter, Hellen Haken, Twin Falls, Idaho.
Committal services and burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center. Mr. Hinshaw will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center.
