Betty Jane Hinshaw Williams (1924 - 2012)
Betty Jane Hinshaw Williams, 87, went to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, March 12, 2012. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Arlington Funeral Home. Betty was a member of the Arlington Women's Club, the Altrusa Club, the UTA Retirees Association, and Beta Sigma Phi for over 60 years. A member of First United Methodist Church, she was in the Wesley Progressors Sunday School Class. She was also the assistant business manager at the University of Texas at Arlington from which she retired after 47 years. Betty and Joe were married in May 1942. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe, after 63 years of marriage. Survivors: Daughter, Bettie Jo Roeber; grandchildren, Jarred Blair, and Cameron Roeber; and sisters, Sonya Green and husband, Don, Doris Hansen and husband, Ray.
