Vester's mother died seven days after he and his twin brother were born. Lester was raised by the family and a neighbor family took in Vester2 (apparently R.P. & Virginia Jetton).6

According to family folklore, Vester became a lawyer and went by the name of George Hinshaw2 (although records indicate he went by Eugene V. Jetton1,4 or Vester Jetton).3,5
In 1978-1983 Vester was living in/near Hobbs, Lea County, New Mexico.3
Ethel died Aug - 1978.3
Vester Hinshaw died Aug 11 1983, Lubbock County, Texas.3,5
