Joshua Reneker Jr.
Born Dec. 28, 1907, in the Oak Grove community east of Douds, he was the son of Joshua Sr. and Susan Sampson Reneker. On Feb. 20, 1932, he married Zona Hanshaw in Lancaster, Mo. She died Oct. 23, 1994.
Mr. Reneker was a farmer in the Oak Grove neighborhood.
He was a graduate of Douds High School. He was active in the former Oak Grove Church and in its current restoration and regularly attended Selma Jam country music festivals.
