On 7 Mo. 14 1763 at Hopewell Friends MM (Virginia), Mary Handsher witnessed and signed the marriage certificate of Thomas Rees and Margaret Rees.^c

On 7 Mo. 7 1766 at Hopewell Friends MM (Virginia) Mary Stonebridge (formerly Handcher) was reported married out of unity.^2,d    On 10 Mo. 6 1766 at Hopewell Friends MM, Mary Stonebridge (formerly Hancher) was disowned for being married contrary to discipline.^e
