Born about 1879, Audley, Staffordshire.^2,3,4,5  

There is some family folklore that William Ralph was born in a workhouse because his father was in prison at the time¹ (his father was not shown with the family in the 1881 census).⁴  

He married Sarah Ann Harper, Nov 11 1901, St. Johns, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England.^2,6  Sarah, daughter of William Harper, was born about 1880.^1,2  

William obtained employment with the Worcester Royal Porcelain Company as a china plate maker.  The family settled at 24 Regent Street in Worcester.¹  

Sarah died Jun 24 1950, Worcester, England.^1,2  

William Ralph Henshall died Mar 16 1955, at home in Worcester, England.⁷
