At Peoli Announced

Miss Kate Hanshaw and Emmett Frizell were married Monday afternoon, Dec. 31, in the Methodist parsonage at Peoli, with Rev. Fontella Linn reading the single-ring ceremony.

The date marked the 45th wedding anniversary of the groom's parents.

White tapers on seven-branched candelabra lent a soft glow as the couple exchanged vows before an improvised altar of evergreens and Christmas flowers.

Miss Harriet Lanning presented a program of nuptual music and sang "Always" preceding the ceremony.

The bride wore a street-length dress of navy blue with white accessories.  Her corsage was Talisman roses.

After a short wedding trip the new Mr. and Mrs. Frizell will live near Gilmore, where they have their new home furnished.
