Francis' obituary was published in the "Anderson Daily Bulletin" (Anderson, Indiana) on Thursday, June 9, 1966⁶ (see scan below).

Helen died Jul 7 2000, Indianapolis Retirement Home, Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana; age 84.⁸
