She married William Mitchell Haneline4,5,6,7 [Mitchell Haneline8,9].  William, son of William Thomas Haneline & Martha Lizora Etchison, was born Dec 22 1918, probably Davie County, North Carolina.4,8,10

On Sep 14 1944 William M. Haneline, born 1919 in North Carolina, enlisted at Camp Croft, South Carolina as a Private in the U.S. Army.  He declared he had a grammar school education, and was then married.13  He later attained the rank of Corporal.10  

William died Feb 11 2005, at his home, Newport, Carteret County, North Carolina; buried Feb 15 2005, Gethsemane Memorial Park, Morehead City, North Carolina.4,5,9,10

William Haneline

NEWPORT - William Mitchell Haneline, 86, of Newport, died Feb. 11 at home.  

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home chapel, Morehead City, with the Rev. Steve Wakefield officiating.  Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.  

He was a World War II veteran serving with the U.S. Army, a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, and retired after 27 years from Western Electric.  

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Martha Jean Haneline Rush.  

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Jean H. Haneline; two sons, Ronnie Haneline of Greer, S.C., and Donnie Haneline of Charlotte; a daughter, Carol King of Kansas; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.  

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 120 Bell St., Swansboro, N.C. 28584.

William Mitchell Haneline, 86, of Newport, died Friday at his home.

He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Swansboro.  He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.  He retired from Western Electric after 27 years of service.  

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jean H. Haneline; a granddaughter, Melanie Beth Rush of the home; two sons, Ronnie Haneline and wife Paula of Greer, S.C., and Donnie Haneline and wife Karen of Charlotte; a daughter, Carol King and husband Michael of Kansas; 11 other grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.  

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Jean Haneline Ruse [sic]; three brothers, Dewey, Brice and Ray Haneline; and two sisters, Sally Howard and Mary Boger.  

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Munden Funeral Home, Morehead City.
