Born Jun 19 1769, Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut.2,4  

He married Mary Redmond1,2,5 [Hitty Redmond6,7].  Mary was born about 1770.8  

In 1800 Nathaniel was living in Cayuga County, New York.9  

Christened Apr 3 1805 at First Presbyterian Church at Genoa, Cayuga County, New York.1  

In 1810 Nathaniel was living in Niagara County, New York.10  

In 1820 Nathaniel was living in Aurora Township, Niagara County, New York.11  

Admitted as a member to West Aurora Congregational Church, Griffin Mills, Erie County, New York on Apr 10 1833.1  

Mary died Jan 9 1814, Batavia, Genesee County, New York.8  Mary's death was noted as follows: "Hitty Henshaw w. of Nathaniel Jan. 19, 1814, 43 y, in Batavia".6,7  

Nathaniel Henshaw died Aug 22 1838, age 70 years.5,8,12,13  

Nathaniel is buried in the same lot with son Jefferson and his wife.14  

Nathaniel's death was noted as follows: "Nathaniel Henshaw Revolutionary Soldier in Prison 14 Months in Bermuda, died in Aurora Aug. 22, 1838, 70y".15  But his involvement in the Revolution seems questionable as he would have been only 7 years old in 1776.
