A letter to Anna Marie Hinshaw dated Nov 29 1974 told of Edith's death:6

Edith Hinshaw passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 1974.  She was 83 years of age and in failing health.  ...  graveside services at the Chester Cemetery.  She will be buried next to her father, L. E. Hinshaw, according to her wish.
