Born Sep 14 1906, Oklahoma.2,3  

Luther graduated from Southwestern Methodist College, Winfield, Kansas.1,2  He moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1930, where he obtained a Masters Degree from Vanderbilt University.1  

He married Hattie Kenning, Sep 2 1932, Nashville, Tennessee.1  Hattie was born Nov 16 1907.1  

In 1957 Luther opened his own Henshaw Furniture Company in Madison.  He became an Ethan Allen dealer and opened a second store in Green Hills in 1958 which became Henshaw's Ethan Allen Gallery.  He sold his interest upon retirement in 1973.1  

Hattie died Nov 23 1974.1  

He then married Elizabeth Unland, Apr 10 1975.1  Luther and Elizabeth lived in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville.1  

Luther Marion Henshaw died Jun 3 1995, Mt. Juliet Health Care Center, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; buried Spring Hill Cemetery, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.1
