Note that Joshua and Jane were married in the same church and on the same day as the baptism of Elisabeth Fayrer Henshaw.9
Jane Fayrer was British and had a brother, Sir Joseph Fayrer, a noted scientist and tutor to the Prince of Wales.4
Joshua was a lumber dealer.4 He was also Land Agent for the Grand Trunk Railway.10
Joshua and family were shown in the 1881 census, Notre-Dame & Ste-Hyacinthe, Ste-Hyacinthe, Quebec:11

Marie Henshaw, age 47, born in Quebec; Episcopal.
One 1949 published family tree shows this Joshua was the same as Joshua Sands Henshaw #7954;1 however that Joshua is known to have married someone else and was living in California during the time this Joshua was living in Quebec.
