The following article was published in the "Spirit Lake Beacon" (Spirit Lake, Iowa) on February 20, 1919:11
First Lieut. Arthur Seaton and his wife were visiting Mrs. Seaton's grand mother, Rev. Hinshaw and her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Linn Hinshaw last Monday. Lieut. Seaton has been stationed at Camp Dodge, and Camp Funston since his enlistment at the beginning of our entrance into the war, from Camp Funston he is being transferred to Virginia and will be in the service of Uncle Sam for some time.

Mrs. Arthur Seaton is visiting at the Linn Hinshaw home this week. Mrs. Seaton will be remembered as Thora Hinshaw.

Seaton, Arthur J., head-of-household, age 36, born in Illinois; parents born in Illinois; first married at age 24; rented home ($95.00 rent); radio in home; occupation: lawyer, U.S. government; World War I veteran.
Seaton, Thora H., wife, age 33, born in Iowa; parents born in Iowa; first married at age 21.
In 1942 Thora wrote a book of her poetry titled "Across The Fields". Thora planned and prepared over 800 musical programs, which were presented in Washington, D.C.13
Arthur died Feb 14 1972.10
Elsie Thora Hinshaw died before 1999.2
