Lucille's obituary was published in the "Hammon Advocate" (Hammon, Oklahoma) on Thursday, May 19, 1966:6
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the McFarland Methodist Church in Norman for Mrs. Lucille Iris Henshaw who died Thursday at her home in Norman.
A native of Butler, Mrs. Henshaw was married to Dr. Jacob Raymond Henshaw in Norman. The couple lived in Butler from 1921 to 1943 when they moved back to Norman.
Surviving are her husband of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Paul Powell, of Ponca City, one son Jacob Raymond Henshaw, Jr., Rochester, New York; three grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers.
