Mary, daughter of James Cameron & Charity Ann Spangler, was born Dec 26 1797.1,2,7  

Jacob Hanshew died about 1833, Rich Valley, Ceres, Wythe County, Virginia; buried Sharon Lutheran Church Cemetery, Ceres, Bland County, Virginia.1,2  

Widow Mary and family were shown in the 1840 census, Wythe County, Virginia:9

Mary Hanshew household:
1 male age 5-10.
1 male age 10-15.
2 males age 15-20.
1 male age 20-30.
2 females age 5-10.
1 female age 10-15.
1 female age 50-60 (Mary).
Living two households away in 1840 was the family of Elizabeth Henshaw Green,9 probably a close relative.10  

Mary died Dec 28 1873, Rich Valley, Ceres, Wythe County, Virginia; age 82.1,5  (Bland County, Virginia).3
