Born Jun 1 1886, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.4,5,6  

He married Charlotte Angstman.1,3  Charlotte, daughter of Oscar E. + Charlotte S. Angstman, was born about 1887, Michigan.2  

On Sep 17 1918 Edward Miller Henshaw, age 32, registered for the World War I draft in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.  He declared he was born June 1 1886, and was then residing at 2516 Ritchie Ave. in Cincinnati where he was a salesman employed by The International Time Recorder Co. of 1235 Union Trust Bldg., Cincinnati.  He declared his nearest relative was Mrs. Charlotte A. Henshaw of 2516 Ritchie Ave., Cincinnati.  He was recorded as tall, slender, brown eyes, black hair.6  

Edward Miller Henshaw died Oct 19 1918, at his home, Richie Ave., Hyde Park, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio; cremated, buried Sep 21 1920, section 72, lot 71, Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio.3,7  Edward's ashes are buried in the same grave with his mother.3  

Medical: Edward died from influenza3 (apparently in the influenza epidemic of 1917-1918).  

Widow Charlotte and children were shown in the 1920 census (Jan 10 1920), living with her parents at 510 Chicago Blvd., Detroit, Michigan:2

Henshaw, Roger M., grandson, age 2 years 11 months, born in Ohio; father born in Ohio; mother born in Michigan.
Aders, Marie, servant, age 18, born in Indiana; parents born in Indiana; single; occupation: servant, private home.
Brooks, Katie Bell, servant, age 20, born in New York; father born in Mississippi; mother born in Arkansas; single; occupation: servant, private home.
