He married Caroline Erset "Callie" Woodward, Oct 5 1882.¹ Caroline, daughter of Ephraim Woodward & Martha Ann Ogg^1,3, was born Mar 24 1865^1,3 [about 1868²], Indianola, Warren County, Iowa^1,3.

Frederick and family resided for a time at Concord, Washington,¹ later settling in Alaska.⁴

Callie and children were shown in the 1900 census (Jun 15 1900), Eagle Harbor Precinct, Kitsap County, Washington:³

Fred L. Henshaw was listed in a 1901 directory of Alaska Yukon gold rush participants. He was listed as a printer on Douglas Island, Alaska.⁷

Frederick Ledyard Henshaw died Oct - 1906, buried Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Seattle, King County, Washington.⁸

After Frederick died, Callie remarried to a W.M. Guse, Nov 18 1905,^9,10 and was again widowed.^10,11

Widow Callie (twice widowed) was shown in the 1920 census living in the household of her son Henry:¹⁰
