Phillip Gatewood, born 1792; died Jun 1830, Essex County, Virginia; married Frances "Fanny" Sale, Dec 13 1819, Caroline County, Virginia (children: William C., Susan P. and Ann E. Gatewood).
Lucy S. Gatewood, born 1794, Essex County, Virginia; married George W. Gatewood.

William died 1809. William wrote his will Jun 9 1809 (proven Sep 18 1809). In his will he mentioned his son John H. [Hinshaw] Gatewood, daughters Polly Gatewood and Nancy/Ann Gatewood (under 14), wife Sally, sons Phillip & Lineas - "my five children".4
