She married George Henry Tobey, about 1950, Washington, D.C.4,5  George was born Feb 22 1908, New York, New York.5,6,7,8  

George had served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in England during World War II.5  On Aug 10 1942 George H. Tobey, born 1908 in New York, had enlisted as a private in the U.S. Army at Fort Myer, Virginia.  He had declared he had a grammar school education, was then single, without dependents, and employed as an office machine serviceman.  He was recorded as 67" tall, 183 lbs.6  

George was a watchmaker, and Ruth was a music teacher in the Montgomery County Maryland public schools.  They lived in Hyattsville, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C.  They had no children.5  

George died Jul 27 1960, buried Aug 1 1960, Section 28, Site 477, Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.5,7,8  

After George died Ruth continued teaching for several years, and then returned to Missouri where she enjoyed going fishing with her girlfriends.5  

Ruth currently (1993-2006) resides in Mount Vernon, Lawrence County, Missouri.3,5,9,10
