Rebecca was shown in the 1870 census (Aug 17 1870), working as a servant in the household of a William & Lydia Reynolds in Delaware Township, Hamilton County, Indiana:5

Henshaw, Rebecca, age 31, born in North Carolina; housekeeper.
Rebecca seems to have been doubly-enumerated in the 1870 census as another Rebecca Hinshaw (who seems to be this same Rebecca) was shown in the 1870 census (Jul 5 1870), living or working in the household of an Isaac W. & Sarah Reynolds in Washington Township, Hamilton County, Indiana:6

Rebecca was shown in the 1880 census (Jun 3 1880), still working as a servant in the household of William C. & Lyda A. Reynolds in Delaware Township, Hamilton County, Indiana:7

Hinshaw, Rebeca, age 46, born in North Carolina; parents born in North Carolina; servant; [.. marital status not shown ..].

She married John T. Taylor, Nov 21 1885, Hamilton County, Indiana.3,4,8  John, son of Philip Taylor & Delilah Jacobs, was born Feb 15 1826, Ohio.4,9,10  

The marriage record shows Rebecca was age 53 at the time of her marriage, and John was age 59.4  

John had been previously married to Catherine Bitzer, who had died Jun 6 1884.4,9  

Rebecca Hinshaw died Jan 24 1900, Eagletown, Hamilton County, Indiana; age 66y 27d.4,9,10  

Rebecca's death was noted in the "Noblesville Democrat" on Friday, Jan 26 1909 (abstracted here):4

Rebecca died Wednesday [January 24] of pneumonia at age 66y.  Husband and several children survived [not named].  Internment at Eagletown Cemetery.

After Rebecca died, John apparently remarried on Jan 22 1901 (at age 71) to Deliliah Jacobs (or Mary J. Whelchel).4,9  

John died Mar 30 1909, Washington Township, Hamilton County, Indiana; age 83y 1m 15d.4,9,10  

John's obituary was published in "The Hamilton County Times" on Friday, Apr 9 1909 (abstracted here):9,11

John was born in Ohio on February 15, 1826 and died March 30, 1909.  He married Catherine Bitzer in 1847.  They had seven children, four living and three dead.  [No names were listed for any of them.] Served in Company "F", 168th Ohio Regiment National Guards in 1864.  Wounded in Cynthiana, KY.  Member of G. A. R.  First joined M. E. church, later joined Friends Church.  Wife, Catherine, died June 6, 1884.  Lived with son, W. A. Taylor for the last seven years of his life.
