Anita's obituary was published as follows:4
Anita (Henshaw) Staupe, 66, a resident of Milford for the past 33 years, died peacefully at her home on Sunday, September 21, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Dale L. Staupe.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Lorretta (LaHair) Henshaw. She resided in Worcester and Boxborough before settling in Milford. A registered nurse, Mrs. Staupe was an operating room nurse at Memorial Hospital in Worcester for 4 years and one year at the Emerson Hospital in Concord. For over 20 years she volunteer at the Milford Regional Hospital, as recently as last May before her health declined. She also earned an MBA from Framingham State College. Mrs. Staupe enjoyed knitting afghans, and had friends at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Acton, the Pilgrim Church in Worcester and the Community Covenant Church in Hopkinton.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Brett Staupe, and a brother, Harold Henshaw. She was the devoted mother of the late Dawn Trisha Staupe, and sister of the late Paul and Robert Henshaw.
Family and friends are invited to the funeral service on Friday, September 26h at 10:00a.m. at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton, with Rev. Timothy Knapp, Pastor of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
