Hinshaw, Chas. E., head-of-household, age 23, born in Indiana; father born in Indiana; mother born in New York; first marriage, married 5 years; occupation: ticket clerk, steam railroad; owned home (mortgaged).
Hinshaw, Harriet E., wife, age 26, born in Indiana; parents born in Indiana; first marriage, married 5 years; 1 child, none living.

Harriet died Jan 24 1911, Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana.11  

On Jun 5 1917 Charles Elgar Hinshaw, age , registered for the World War I draft in Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana.  He declared he was born August 6 1886 in Richmond, Indiana, and was then residing at 223 So. 15, Richmond, where he was single and a ticket agent employed by the P.C.C.R. St.L. Ry. Co. of Richmond.  He was recorded as tall, slender, blue eyes, black hair.6  

Charles E. Hinshaw died May 21 1918, Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana; age 31.4,5,11,12
