Born Nov 27 1885.a,b
Clifford C. Hinshaw died Jan 21 1891, buried Jericho Cemetery, Randolph County, Indiana.a,b
Clifford was killed at age six when he was struck by a log rolling off a truck or wagon.    According to Nora May Snider, Clifford had been in the house just before the accident, when an angel came to him and told him something.    Clifford went to his mother, asking her to write it down, but she was ill at the time.    So Clifford, still wanting paper and pencil, went outside to find his father.    It was then that a log rolled off the wagon, striking Clifford fatally.c
Clifford's obituary was published as follows (as excerpted):b
