Hinshaw, Loran I., lodger, age 29, born in Idaho; completed 8th grade; on Apr 1 1935 was living in rural Washington County, Idaho; single; occupation: farm laborer, farm; worked 50 weeks in 1939; $300 wages in 1939.
He married Luella Genevieve Miller4,7 [Luella G. Brockett7, Genevieve L. Brockett8], Sep 11 19704,7, Reno, Washoe County, Nevada4,7. Luella, daughter of Clyde A. Miller & Alice M. Simmons, was born Dec 5 1912, New York.6,9,10
Luella had been previously married to William H. Brockett,8 by whom she had a son, William C. Brockett.9
Luella died Mar 22 2003, at her home, Reno, Washoe County, Nevada; age 90.5,9
Luella's obituary was published in the Reno Gazette-Journal (Reno, Nevada) on March 26, 2003:9
Luella G. Hinshaw
Luella G. Hinshaw, 90, passed away on March 22, 2003 at her residence in Reno. She was born on December 5, 1912, the daughter of Clyde and Alice (Simmons) Miller.
In 1946, Mrs. Hinshaw moved from Hartford, CT, to the Reno area. She was a member of Potter House Christian Fellowship.
Her parents preceded her in death. Survivors include her beloved husband, Loren Hinshaw; son, William C. Brockett of Reno; and brother, Clyde Miller of New York.
A graveside ceremony will be held on Friday, March 28, 2004 at 11 AM at Sierra Memorial Gardens with inurnment [sic] to follow. Arrangements have been entrusted to O'Brien-Rogers & Crosby Funeral Home.
