He married Luella Genevieve Miller^4,7 [Luella G. Brockett⁷, Genevieve L. Brockett⁸], Sep 11 1970^4,7, Reno, Washoe County, Nevada^4,7. Luella, daughter of Clyde A. Miller & Alice M. Simmons, was born Dec 5 1912, New York.^6,9,10

Luella had been previously married to William H. Brockett,⁸ by whom she had a son, William C. Brockett.⁹

Luella's obituary was published in the Reno Gazette-Journal (Reno, Nevada) on March 26, 2003:⁹

Loran Iris Hinshaw died Feb 26 2007, Atlanta, Cass County, Texas; buried Sierra Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Reno, Washoe County, Nevada.^3,5
