Amy, as her granddaughter Susan Maureen Field described her, "was a very, very good Quaker!  I have always enjoyed hearing my mom tell the stories of when they would go to meeting and how her mom, Amy, would stand up and talk back to the minister!"11  Another grandaughter, Dianne Kay Field, said that Amy "walked this earth as a saint".5
