Tilmae Hinshaw Rabe
Services for Tilmae Hinshaw Rabe, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Blue Ribbon Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Coley officiating. Interment will be at Lone Grove Cemetery under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rabe was born May 28, 1913, at Provence, to Benjamin and Addaline "Addie" Adams Hinshaw. She died Jan. 16, 2001, in Ardmore.
Married to Walton L. Rabe on April 11, 1931, in Ardmore, she and her husband were dairymen for more than 34 years in the Lone Grove area. She was a gifted seamstress, well-known cook and member of the Blue Ribbon Missionary Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 17, 1991; a daughter, Radine Spradling in March 2000; her parents; and sister, Faye Royal.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Billie Rabe, Glen and Robin Rabe, and Jackie and Linda Rabe; and daughter and son-in-law, LaDella and Clem Jones; and son-in-law, James Spradling, all of Lone Grove; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Jeffery Jones, Bradley Jones, Gregory Jones, Jimmy Spradling, Devin Rabe, Danny Spradling, Bill Rabe and Scott Rabe.
