Born Feb - 1885, Oklahoma (Indian Territory).1,2  

In 1912 Alice was believed to have been living in Glen Carbon, Edwardsville Township, Madison County, Illinois.3  She was still in Glen Carbon as of 1920, single and living with her brothers.2  

She married Rudolph R. Schiber, Jul 13 1921, Union, Franklin County, Missouri.4,5  Rudolph was born Apr 17 1884.6  

In 1957-1963 Alice was living in Glen Carbon, Madison County, Illinois.7,8,9  

Alice M. Henshaw died Aug 21 1966, St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland, Madison County, Illinois; age 79.5  

Alice's obituary was published in the "Edwardsville Intelligencer" (Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois) on Monday, August 22, 1966:5

Mrs. Alice M. Schiber of 81 Collinsville St., Glen Carbon, died at 3 a.m. Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland.  She had been a hospital patient five days.  

Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the chapel at Weber Funeral Home.  The Rev. Donald Maple of St. John's Methodist Church will officiate.  Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville.  

Mrs. Schiber, 79 years old, had lived in the Glen Carbon area most of her life.  Born at McAllister [sic], Okla., she was the daughter of Hiram and Sarah Jones Henshaw.  

Surviving is her husband, Rudolph R. Schiber, whom she married July 11, 1921 [sic] at Union, Mo.  She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.  

Mrs. Schiber was a member of Glen Carbon Methodist Church, and also the Thursday Club and Auxiliary of Harry G. Seaton Post of the Glen Carbon American Legion.  She was a member of Edwardsville Chapter 667, Order of the Eastern Star.  

The body is in state today at the funeral home.  The OES Chapter will conduct a service this evening at 8 o'clock.

Rudolph died Apr - 1968.6
